My VERY first Giveaway!!!

Giveaway is closed. Thanks to all who participated!

This is the time of year when we remind ourselves to give thanks for all of our many blessings. Of course, we should be thankful all year, but it is good to have a special time set aside to specifically count our blessings.

This has been the most difficult year we have ever faced in the twelve years we have been married. We lost our wee little unborn twins through miscarriage in March and my husband lost his job in May. And yet (aren't those beautiful words???) God has been so faithful to us. Supplying our needs and some of our wants. Comforting us in our sorrow. I'm so thankful for the family I have and for the little ones I so look forward to meeting in heaven.

I made this banner, using a pattern from Meringue Designs on Etsy. It is a great pattern. Yes, it is something that you could figure out how to make without a pattern, but its also kind of nice to have it all worked out so you can just sew which is the best part anyhow.

So would you like to win???? There are several ways you can enter the drawing.

1. Leave a comment telling me something you are thankful for.

2. Follow my blog and leave a separate comment telling me that you are following (Already a follower??? just put that in the comment)

3. If you want to twitter or mention the giveaway on your blog you can receive an entry for anything like that just leave another comment.

I love how it folds up and stores in a nice small little bundle☺

Please make sure I have a way of contacting you if you win! I will pick the winner using a random number generator. This giveaway will close Wednesday morning when I wake up so I have time to contact the winner and get it in the mail in time for Thanksgiving day!

  9. And I tweeted you.

I was so greedy, in my first comment I forgot to say what I'm thankful for!

Today, since I'm already being greedy, I'm thankful for a quiet shopping trip to "the city" without kids.
