One of these days

I would love to show all of the wonderful projects that I've been working on, but um. . . well. . . there aren't any.

I wake up (I refuse to tell you the time I get up for fear you will be shocked at how absolutely lazy I'm getting to be), get breakfast on the table, home school, put dirty clothes in the washing machine, all the while dreaming of what I will be able to sew when all those tasks are finished.

But, after lunch I'm just pooped.

So instead of sewing, I have been taking a nap telling myself how much more energy I will have after I have rested.

But. . . after my nap, Pumpkin wakes up and well she needs a good cuddle too-right???? Of course she does, I mean my goodness she just woke up and needs to ease into the day again. So we grab the blankie for Pumpkin and snuggle up together and watch Pumpkin's all-time favorite, Mary Poppins.

Then I hear hubby walk into the house, and I panic realizing that not only haven't I sewed anything, but I don't have a clue what supper will be. So I promise myself tomorrow will be different.

One of these days, we will have the clean clothes neatly folded in the drawers instead of digging through laundry baskets, and I will have a spic and span clean house again, and tons of sewing time.

The pictures have nothing to do with anything. I just like to have pictures on my posts. Princess's style is a unique one and I love it. She is always good for a smile.

Princess did pick out some fabric she likes from my stash (she actually shocked me and passed on pink with flowers and went with a blue and green paisley print from Heather Bailey's Freshcut line.) and a pattern so one of these days I will have a dress to show you.
