Happy Birthday!

The children have been busy making handmade cards.

Princess H. made up a song on the piano just for Daddy.

I "generously" told my husband he could have the last piece of bacon at breakfast because it was his birthday. We were all eying it hoping we could snatch it before anyone else could, but I guess you have to show extra love to the birthday guy.

I learned that men who enjoy hunting as my husband does have a weird sense of fashion, (did you know the different camouflage patterns have a name???? I certainly didn't. It is absolutely insane! Why oh why couldn't a nice shirt have been on the birthday list instead of all of the strange hunting gear I knew nothing about???).

Today I'm busy making a supper I don't like, but my husband requested as his special birthday meal.

All in preparation for this special day of honoring the one we love so much.
