Apron love

If you've been reading my blog for a while you've seen this apron before.

I can't tell you how excited I was yesterday, when the designer of the pattern for my apron, Joan Hand Stroh, stopped by and left a comment on my blog!

You see, the whole reason I even bought the book A is for Apron is because I absolutely loved her aprons.

(Did I mention that I almost squealed with excitement? I didn't? Oh, yeah I'm trying to pretend that I'm nonchalant about an amazing pattern designer stopping by so I probably shouldn't tell you how I raced down the steps to tell my husband either. I don't want you to think that this completely made my day or anything☺)

Anyhoo, she mentioned the bestest news: You can now buy this pattern through Simplicity (which, by the way often go on sale at JoAnn's for super cheap) as well as this one which is adorable too.

Even though I have the book, I think I'm going to have to buy these patterns because there are a few different design options not to mention some children aprons. My girls would love having their own aprons. Hmmm, I should keep that in mind for their birthdays.

Why oh why do I love aprons so much?
