This weekend was bittersweet. My family said our final goodbyes to our beloved grandma and it was heartbreaking to have to do so. Grandma's family came from far and wide to attend her funeral giving testimony to what a great lady she really was. It was so much fun to see family that I haven't seen in a long time, to laugh about the memories (such as how horrible some of the Easter candy was that Grandma would put into our Easter baskets) and to make a few new memories. Grandma's family was counted and I believe they came up with 89 people that are direct descendants! She had an amazing impact on each one of us and we will always love and miss her.
I am so sorry for your loss. What a blessing to have fond memories to bring you comfort.
