Super P turns 6 (sniff, sniff)

The number 6 sounds old to me. Too old to be my mischievous, darling, little red-headed guy who used to get into sooo much trouble. (think playing in the toilet when Mommy's busy somewhere else. . . yeah we're talking about that kind of trouble and oh so much more)

Don't get me wrong, he still has plenty of fun left in him. (but fortunately he only uses toilets for the correct purpose now.☺)

He falls off his chair for no explainable reason.

He's always hungry unless there is food in front of him to eat and then he's "so-full-I-can't-eat-another-bite-can-I-go-play?"

He's also THE BEST snuggler I've got, although he doesn't have as much time for snuggling as he used too.

He's a crazy combo of rough and tumble, and yet sensitive and caring.

He loves to draw and often draws pictures to give to people he loves.

When I asked what kind of cake he wanted, he said he wanted a "tree birthday"

That totally sounded like a theme P would come up with, but I was clueless as to what to do with it.

"Ummmm. . . a tree birthday???? Do you think you could draw me a picture of what you are thinking???"

He quickly drew out the picture and handed to me. So that is what we made. . .

Happy Birthday Super P! I'm so thankful that God knew just what we needed when he gave us you.

I LOVE YOU!

  2. I love the cake! My youngest son turned 6 last year and I cried my eyes out. Six just seemed so old, even my oldest son turning 16 last year didn't affect me nearly as bad. Six really is old!
